WEVR is a virtual reality company based in Venice, California. WEVR develops a specialized VR media player for producers of 360 Videos and other types of cinematic virtual reality. WEVR created theBlu, an immersive ocean experience for various VR Devices.
Transport[edit]
Transport is a VR content distribution network revealed in February 2016. It hosts free and paid VR content across Oculus Rift, SteamVR, Gear VR, Google Cardboard and the web. Transport will be accessible from each VR platform's app store such as the Oculus Store and Google Play.

March 2015 - WEVR launched a $1 million grant that gives $5000 to $50,000 to content producers to create VR videos with WEVR's media player.
February 6, 2016 - Raised $25 million dollars in venture capital from HTC, Samsung Ventures, Evolution Media Partners and other.
