Voxon VX1

The Voxon VX1 is a volumetric display from Voxon.

The VX1 gives a ghostly image which is not lifelike.

The VX1 has been misunderstood as being holographic, but it is not. It simply produces partially transparent images.

The VX1 is to be seen from multiple angles at once. There is an inherent limitation in the display where the objects look transparent.

The VX1 is large and heavy.

The VX1 gives a view similar to the chess game in Star Wars.

In Voxon's advertising, a SpaceMouse is shown controlling the VX1.
