The Virtual Boy is a VR game console from by Nintendo.

It was developed with a monochrome red display. It only had a few games made before it was discontinued. It has no position or rotation tracking, and is designed to stay fixed while playing. It requires a user to sit still with their head up against the viewer screen.

The Virtual Boy operates on the principle of biscopic flat-focus stereoscopic 3D.

The Virtual Boy was shown at E3 1995.[1]
