Standalone headset

A standalone headset is a headset that has a computer and battery pack built in. For example, the Oculus Quest is a standalone headset. It works by using computer vision tracking of the environment.

It has a battery pack either in the headset or attached with a compute pack like the Apple Vision Pro or the Magic Leap 1.
