Optic nerve

An optic nerve is a paired cranial nerve that connects an eye to a human brain.
It extends from an eye's optic disc to a brain's optic chiasma, and continues as an optic tract to the lateral geniculate nucleus, pretectal nuclei, and superior colliculus.[1]
