Morton Heilig was the creator of the Sensorama, which was an early VR experience.
He is inventor of the Stereoscopic-television apparatus for individual use.[1]

He had a scale for how much of each of the five senses are used in perception, approximately:
- Sight: 70 percent
- Hearing: 20 percent
- Smell: 5 percent
- Touch: 4 percent
- Taste: 1 percent[2]
