Microelectronics manufacturing is the process of making electronic components that have microscopic parts, such as microprocessors and TFT displays.

It can be done in a fabrication environment.

It can be done using silicon wafers.

To make a curved component such as a high-field-of-view LiDAR sensor, a wafer should not be used, and typical wafer processing steps should not be used. Wafer equipment should not be used.
