A Magic Leap 2

The Magic Leap 2 is a transparent display headset from Magic Leap.

It is marketed to enterprise users. It has high difficulty of application development. It does not allow for custom operating systems to be loaded.

One of the features of the Magic Leap 2 is that the display can dim selectively using soft edge occlusion.

The Magic Leap 2 has a taller aspect ratio and larger vertical field of view than the Magic Leap 1. The Magic Leap 2 has one of the highest fields of view, if not the highest, of any optical see-through head mounted display that has been produced.

It is wired into a puck that could be mounted on a waist belt. The puck is the main compute of the unit. It runs a derivative of the Android operating system.
