LucidCam is a biscopic camera.

LucidCam reached its $100,000 crowdfunding goal on IndieGogo on November 30, 2015. On April 13, 2016, Lucid VR, the company behind Lucid Cam, announced that it has raised an additional 2.1 million dollars and partnered with Wistron Coporation, a Taiwan-based ODM, to manufacture the cameras.

Hardware[edit]

The small camera can be worn on the chest, mounted on a bicycle or directly on a hat. Right now, the two stereoscopic cameras capture full HD resolution 3D video at 30 frames per second. If the stretch goal on Indiegogo is reached, this could potentially extend up to 360 degrees. The camera includes HDMI output and the built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 1 hour of battery life.
