A HCI Loop (Human Computer Interaction Loop) is a process between a human and a computer where there is input, processing, and output, and the person decides what to do next.

In 3D UI, the highest bandwidth can be achieved when the interaction happens in the personal space. This is where hands have the greatest freedom of movement. This requires the use of display gadgets that can accurately correspond to hand movements in the personal space, about 1 to 2 feet away from the user.
