David W. Mann Company

The David W. Mann Company was a company that produced photolithographic technology for the semiconductor industry. It was sold to GCA in about 1959.[1]
It introduced the first photorepeater in the year G1961.[2]
In the 1970s, the Mann Company in cooperation with IBM developed the first "Direct Step on Wafer" or DSW system. It used a reduction lens that had a mount for a reticle. It used Köhler illumination.[3]
