Clarence W Kanolt was a researcher in integral imagery.[1]
He experimented with pin-holes. These pinholes were packed in arrays of densities of between 40 and 200 per square inch.[1] He tried different arrangements, including hexagonal-packed, square-packed, and random arrays.[1]
