Campfire is a company that has marketed products that had optical see-through head-mounted displays.[1]
They marketed a headset, and a multi-user augmented reality product called the Console.
They worked with frog design.
The name Campfire is a reference to how a group of people can get together in front of a 3D shared space or scene, such as a real campfire, all facing each other and sharing useful ideas and information. It extends this concept to augmented reality, where the ideas shared are rich virtual 3D objects and scenes instead of only words and body language.
Campfire has pivoted to a software platform.
Campfire's address is 980 South Amphlett Boulevard, San Mateo, California.[2]
