3D interface technology

3D interface technology is technology that provides a 3D interface between a human and something else. 3D interface is interface that the brain perceives in three dimensions.

3D interface technology can be used with a brain-computer interface.

An example is a 3D display. Another example is a 3D controller.

One of the highest-amount-of-information-processing parts of the brain is the visual cortex. Therefore, a large part of the focus on 3D interface technology is communicating using three dimensions (3D) using the visual cortex.

Uses of 3D interface[edit]

  • Visualizing and annotating 3D mathematical structures
