The Science Year hologram is a hologram published in the World Book Science Annual 1967. It is the world's first mass-produced hologram.

The hologram is of chess pieces and can be viewed with light through a red filter.

The hologram was made by Gary Cochran's group at Conductron Corp.[1]

Conductron[edit]

Conductron Corporation was a company that made holograms. Conductron was merged into the McDonnel-Douglas Electronics Company in Missouri (McDonnell-Douglas).[2][3]
