The Wii Remote is a motion controller by Nintendo for the Wii. It is the main controller for the Wii.
The Wii Remote has 3DOF motion tracking. The Wii MotionPlus was released, which is an accessory that plugs into the bottom of the remote and gives it better motion control capabilities.
It can be interfaced to a computer using a number of programs, including DarwiinRemote and Wiiji.
