Ascension Technology was a company that made position and orientation tracking systems.
Its website is ascension-tech.com[1][2]
It was merged into Northern Digital Incorporated (NDI).
Their technology was used in an upgrade program for the AH-1Z helicopter for the U.S. Marine Corps.[3]

Ascension was started in the year G1986 by Ernest Blood (also known as Ernie Blood) and Jack Scully, who had been working at Polhemus.[7]
