The F-35 is a fighter jet. Its helmet has a display capability that gives a 360 view of outside the aircraft.[1]
The helmet is the Collins Aerospace F-35 Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS).[2] It was made by Collins Aerospace.
The helmet is custom fitted to the user's head and eyes. IPD measurement is done.
The helmet has about a 30 by 40 degree field of view, which is quite low.
The display has a flat focus.
