For instance, with polygons there is only so much you can do to a shape to contort it and resize it to how you’d like it, so in regards to other tools out there it doesn’t exactly have the same complexity. But what it does lack for complexity, it more than makes up for accessibility, as it really is the sort of thing you could get anyone into to trying and enjoying, without the need to have a serious creative mind on your shoulders.

With Blocks, Google have set out to create a 3D modelling tool that’s viable for all ages and has designed it for anyone and everyone to use right from the very get-go. Due to the sacrifice of making it easy-to-use, the level of complexity is reduced somewhat, but Blocks isn’t expected to be used for budding game developers or serious animation studios. It’s the sort of tool/program you want to try if you’ve never tried modelling a 3D shape before and makes it incredibly easy for any and all uses in an open VR space.

Block is quite honestly the perfect excuse for someone to get into 3D modelling, as it gives the user just about everything they need to make a real start on their idea, without having to worry about complicated tools or terms that might throw people off from giving it a chance.
