The Meta Quest 3 is a virtual reality headset sold by Meta Platforms. It has flat focus.
It is flat-focus biscopic stereoscopic.
It uses a pair of LCD displays with a per-eye resolution of 2064×2208 viewed through pancake lenses.[1]
The Quest 3 is compatible with all Quest 2 software.
The Quest 3 has color passthrough.
The Quest 3 is locked down. It requires a smartphone to set up the device. It is impossible to develop apps for the headset on the headset itself. It has a locked bootloader. It is impossible to put a custom operating system on the headset.
