IEEE Virtual Reality
IEEE VR is an event held by IEEE yearly that is dedicated to VR. The full name as of 2018 is the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces.[1]
In the year 2018, IEEE's VR and 3DUI conferences were merged into the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces, with the short name IEEE VR.[1]
At IEEE Virtual Reality 2013, there was a panel titled “The Future of Consumer Virtual Reality”, with Jason Jerald, Palmer Luckey, David A. Smith, Sébastien Kuntz, and Amir Rubin.
The sponsors of IEEE VR have included Zspace and Polhemus.[2]
