Oculus Connect 1 was an event held by Oculus in 2014.
It is officially known as Oculus Connect 2014. It was the first Oculus Connect.
Speakers
Brendan Iribe spoke first.[3][4] He spoke about how for hundreds of years, humans have been using 2D surfaces for media for over 100 years, across books, photos, and video games. He spoke about that the user has always been trying to immerse themselves in something on a 2D surface.[4]
Michael Abrash spoke second.[3][4]
John Carmack spoke third.[3] He stood in the same place for an hour then eventually sat down.[5]
