Virtuality was a company that made VR systems for arcades in the 1990s.

Virtuality Group was originally founded in October 1987 as "W Industries", named after Dr. Jonathan D Waldern, and renamed to Virtuality in 1993.[1][2]

W Industries required an attendant to be present for the Virtuality systems due to concerns about the physical and mental effects of VR use.[3]

Around 1997, Virtuality filed for bankrupty and some assets were sold to Cybermind, including VR headset-related assets.[4][5]
