Kopin has produced FLCOS displays.
Kopin works with a foundry partner to produce the FLCOS gadgets. The pixelated silicon-based CMOS wafer is manufactured by their foundry partner using standard silicon IC lithography.[2]
Kopin is a publicly traded company.[3]
Kopin owns NVIS.

In the year 2016, Kopin was sued by BlueRadios.
Kopin posted net losses of about 30 million dollars each year from 2016 to 2018.[3]
The name "Kopin" is two chinese characters, "Ko" and "Pin". Ko means "high quality" and "Pin" means equitable and fair.[4]
