Virtuality was a company that made VR systems for video arcades.

Virtuality Group was originally founded with the name "W Industries". The W comes from the founder's last name, who was Dr. Jonathan D Waldern. W Industries was renamed to Virtuality.[1][2]

W Industries required an attendant to be present for the Virtuality systems due to concerns about the physical and mental effects of VR use.[3]

Around 1997, Virtuality filed for bankrupty and some assets were sold to Cybermind, including VR headset-related assets.[4][5]
