A Magic Leap 2

The Magic Leap 2 is an augmented reality headset from Magic Leap. It is marketed to enterprise users. It was introduced by Magic Leap as a successor to the Magic Leap 1.

One of the features of the Magic Leap 2 is that the display can dim selectively using soft edge occlusion.

The Magic Leap 2 has a taller aspect ratio and larger vertical field of view than the Magic Leap 1. The Magic Leap 2 has one of the highest fields of view, if not the highest, of any optical see-through head mounted display that has been produced.

It is wired into a puck that could be mounted on a waist belt. The puck is the main compute of the unit. It runs a derivative of the Android operating system.

It has high difficulty of application development. It does not allow for custom operating systems to be loaded.
