Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) was a military augmented reality headset developed by Microsoft based on the HoloLens 2.

It was a total failure. Soliders got eye strain, headaches, and nausea, and complained about the limited peripheral vision.[1]

Doug Bush is a big fan of the IVAS.

Palmer Luckey's company Anduril began to subcontract with Microsoft to develop a new headset under the program.[2]
