InterSense is a company that has made optical and IMU based motion trackers.
Their 6DOF trackers are based on sensor fusion of data from their inertial sensors and from ultrasonic sensors. These include the IS-600 Mark2 and the IS-900 family (MiniTrax gadgets).[1]
