A varifocal display is a dynamic visual display that can vary its focus.
One example of a varifocal display system is Meta's Half Dome.
Varifocal displays can be built using a mechanical focus stage. It is possible that they could also be built using a lohmann lens structure.
It is possible to build a varifocal display using liquid lens technology.
