An electron beam display is an electronic visual display that uses a cathode ray tube.
Electron beam displays were used in the first head mounted display, which was built by Ivan Sutherland.
Manufacturing
It requires a glass tube that has a phosphor and has a vacuum pulled on it. It requires an electron gun.
It is made of two main components: a large glass bulb, and an electron gun.[1]
