A viewer is a physical object that can hold a smartphone or other device in it to create a head-fixed display.
When a gadget is in it, it becomes a two-view stereoscope. With IMUs in the gadget, it becomes a virtual reality headset.
It enables a user to have a virtual reality experience by holding it close to the user's eyes.
