Oculus Connect 1 was an event held by Oculus. It is officially known as Oculus Connect 2014. It was the first Oculus Connect event.

It was held on September 20, 2014.[1][2]

Speakers[edit]

Brendan Iribe gave the first main speech.[3][4] He spoke about how humans have been using 2D surfaces for media for over 100 years, across books, photos, and video games.[4] He also spoke about the open sourcing of the DK1 design. He said that he can't wait to see all the chinese knockoffs.

Michael Abrash gave the second main speech.[3][4]
