An Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 headset

The Oculus Rift DK2 is a VR headset made by Oculus. It has a flat focus.

It went on sale in 2014.[1]

It has larger lenses than the DK1, which results in higher field of view, but because of that, you can see the display edges and they are black. The resolution of the display is higher.

The DK2 has the same part that goes on the face as the DK1. The outer-facing part of the DK2 is changed to a smaller and more rounded design.

The DK2 has support for basic 6DOF tracking using constellation.

It uses the screen from a Galaxy Note 3.[2]
